Marcel had the immense pleasure of lending his pencils to a campaign that smells of iodine, sea spray... and the land: the new promotional campaign for Arcachon Cap Ferret Oysters , supported by the Regional Shellfish Farming Committee .
Through three original illustrations, Marcel pays homage to this pearl of the Bay, drawing inspiration from vintage tourist posters. An artistic nod to a time when landscapes were the stuff of dreams, and when maritime professions embodied a life of passion and authenticity.
These images immerse the viewer in a setting typical of the Arcachon Bay: oyster huts, traditional boats, changing lights, and peaceful horizons. But beyond the postcard, it's above all the work of the oyster farmers that Marcel wanted to highlight—the discreet and precious know-how that makes each oyster tasting as exceptional as it is sincere.
It is a source of pride to participate in promoting this Bassin d'Arcachon Brand, through a campaign rooted in the local, the real, the essential: the taste of here.
"In collaboration with the Hello Agency and a young Basque illustrator, Marcel, we have staged three magical moments of tasting that only the Bassin can offer us. It is the authentic and preserved character of this beautiful territory that gives our oysters their unique taste: The taste of here! (slogan of our new campaign)"
