Who is Marcel ?
Marcel, the pseudonym of self-taught illustrator Julien Veril, is a passionate artist based in Hossegor, in the Landes region of France. Since 2012, he has been creating travel posters inspired by the beauty of France. His first project, a collection dedicated to the city of Biarritz, was launched in 2015 and was a great success. Today, Marcel passionately illustrates not only the cities and landscapes of France, but also its traditions, gastronomy and sports.
Marcel is the exclusive author of this collection of stylized and colorful illustrations. His works are printed locally in the Landes and carefully prepared by his team in the workshop in Hossegor. This artisanal approach guarantees exceptional quality for each product.
The Marcel Travel Posters world now has more than 600 illustrations and is regularly enriched with new products, available in Marcel Travel Posters shops, on our website and in our partner shops.

Our Staff : the heart of Marcel Travel Posters
The Marcel team: The work of enthusiasts, from the workshop to the shops
At Marcel, art is at the heart of every creation, but it would be nothing without the commitment of our entire team. While our artist is the creative soul of Marcel Travel Posters, it is thanks to all of our teams that each product takes shape and reaches its audience.
Our team is made up of professionals in essential fields: marketing, sales, administration, logistics, and of course, the in-store teams. Our in-store teams play a key role in the experience we offer our customers. Always attentive, passionate and enthusiastic, they are the ambassadors of our unique universe. They share with our visitors the story of our creations, the spirit of Marcel and the love of travel that animates each poster.
Whether in our shops or online, each member of our in-store team is trained to offer a warm and personalized welcome, guiding each customer in their discovery of the works. Their knowledge of the products and their passion for art make each visit a special experience, where each person feels both listened to and inspired.
Based in the heart of the Landes region, our team works hand in hand to guarantee the originality and quality of each product, offering a seamless customer experience, both in-store and online.
It is thanks to this synergy between art, logistics, and the in-store teams that we are able to offer an exceptional service and spread the spirit of Marcel Travel Posters.
Our Philosophy
Unique Creations
Illustrated by Julien, aka Marcel
All Marcel Travel Posters products are 100% original creations, designed in their entirety by Julien. Inspired by his travels and the people he meets in the four corners of the world, he captures the very essence of each destination and transcribes it in a unique way.
Our posters are not just illustrations: they are moments in life, precious memories that Julien immortalizes on paper. Through each design, he shares a part of his journey, an emotion, an atmosphere... a real invitation to escape.
Handcraft Made
Unique posters, handcrafted by Julien and carefully prepared in the workshop
Each Marcel Travel Posters poster is a unique work, handcrafted by Julien. Our artisanal working method allows us to transcribe the universe of each creation in the smallest details, while adding that inimitable retro touch that is our signature.
But our commitment does not stop at the creation stage. The workshop also plays an essential role: each poster is carefully wrapped by hand to guarantee its quality and protection before it reaches our customers. This meticulous work, from design to packaging, reflects our attention to detail and our passion for craftsmanship.
Quality Products
Handcrafted posters, designed and printed in the Landes region of France
Each Marcel Travel Posters is a unique work, handcrafted by Julien on 350gsm premium paper. Printed locally in the Landes region, our posters capture the richness of color and the finesse of detail.
They are then carefully hand-packed in our workshop in a protective cardboard sleeve. We are proud to claim that they are 100% made in the Landes, combining craftsmanship and local quality.
