It is impossible to stay in Marseille without going to the Old Port to nibble on some chickpea snacks and drink a nice cool pastis. Seen from the quay, the panorama is breathtaking: it offers an unbeatable view of the moored boats and the Théâtre de la Criée, under the benevolent eye of the "Bonne Mère". The "Good Mother" is Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde, an imposing building perched on top of a hill that watches over the inhabitants of Marseille. If you take a tour of Marseille, you will quickly discover that the inhabitants of the Phocéenne city, as it is known from its founding fathers, are almost as proud of their Old Port as they are of their Basilica, which has also become the city's emblem. As for us, we are particularly proud to enrich our vintage collection with this illustration full of Mediterranean light and warmth!
